Concert in the dark: LAURAINE

The Concert in the Dark with the band LAURAINE promises a very unusual concert experience. In absolute darkness, listeners will be able to experience music in a completely special way. "See nothing - only hear!" is the motto on these two evenings on which the band members of LAURAINE literally control the stage blindly.

LAURAINE is the synth-pop project of Laura Glauber from Munich and impresses with a deep and empowering sound and a broad vocal spectrum of the charismatic singer. Besides the strong front woman, the band consists of Stefan Deimel (git), Valentin Gramm (keys, bass) and Alexander Petri (dr). All musicians have been actively shaping the cultural and music scene in Munich for many years. Laura Glauber has supported successful bands such as Emil Bulls, Blackout Problems, Matija and LORiiA as a background singer in recent years.

During the concert, blind experts will be present to support the audience in this unusual situation. Guests will receive a briefing before the start of the concert and will be led in small groups through a light lock into the dark area. The concert lasts about an hour, and people should be prepared to spend this time in the dark. A contact person with an emergency light is available at all times to ensure that all guests feel comfortable and safe.

The Concert in the Dark concert series won the Bavarian Pop Culture Award in the Inclusion category in 2019 and is now taking place for the ninth time.
