Introducing the creative industries

Creativity, exchange and new impulses: DEZERNAT#16 opens its doors on June 28, 2026 from noon to 8 p.m. to anyone interested in creative work, innovation and networking. Illustration, design, photography, fashion, music, gaming, art and much more - on this day, over 30 companies and freelancers will provide insights into the great diversity of Heidelberg's cultural and creative industry centers DEZERNAT#16 and MARLENE 42.

Visitors can expect a varied program with insights into creative projects, innovative products, workshops in the Café Leitstelle and opportunities to exchange ideas with local players from the creative scene. A major highlight is the Pecha Kucha evening at 19:00. In this internationally renowned short format, creative companies present their projects, ideas and working methods with 20 Power Point slides, each of which can be viewed for 20 seconds.
