Curly Strings is a four-piece folk band that draws its inspiration from its personal origins in the Estonian cultural area. Intensive and playful ensemble work paired with a sincere presentation of their own music forms the main basis of Curly Strings' sound world.
The band's rise in the Estonian music scene in 2013 was a unique phenomenon: as folk musicians, they conquered the pop music scene, won various music awards, were the top seller in music stores for more than a year and became popular as a result.
They bring their unique Baltic perspective to the world of acoustic music, combining the familiar with the unfamiliar and blending catchy, soulful songwriting with the aesthetics of folk music.
