Dana Vowinckel: Anton und Alma (NDR Kultur – Der Norden liest)

Anton and Alma meet during a student exchange in Brittany and run into each other again years later in Berlin. Despite their different backgrounds, they fall in love, move in together, and try to find their place amid intimacy, doubt, and social tensions. When October 7, 2023, and the Gaza War shake their lives to the core, their relationship is put to the test.

Dana Vowinckelstudied linguistics and literature in Berlin, Toulouse, and Cambridge. Her acclaimed debut novel,*Gewässer im Ziplock*, haswon multiple awards, been translated into several languages, and adapted for the stage.
