La Perla

[La Perla is a percussion and vocal trio from Bogotá, inspired by the traditional sounds of Colombia's Caribbean coast. Their music blends rhythms such as cumbia, bullerengue, porro, and gaita with influences from merengue, champeta, hip-hop, punk, and beatboxing.

Working primarily with voice and percussion, the trio creates dense, polyrhythmic compositions where rhythm and vocals take center stage. Their sound moves fluidly between traditional and contemporary expressions, combining different Latin American styles into a dynamic and cohesive musical language.

Their debut album Callejera reflects this approach, bringing together a wide range of influences-from chalupa and samba to chicha, guaguancó, and rap-into a vibrant exploration of rhythm and voice.

With a focus on voice and percussion, they create dense, polyrhythmic compositions in which rhythm and vocals take center stage. Their sound moves between traditional and contemporary forms of expression and combines different Latin American styles to create an independent musical language.

The debut album Callejera bundles this diversity and combines influences ranging from chalupa and samba to chicha, guaguancó and rap to create a multi-layered sound.

3YOONI

[As a displaced person of color who experiences othering on a daily basis, 3YOONI critically addresses identity, language, racism and orientalism in his songs. He fuses traditional Arabic rhythms and the echoes of oud arrangements with pulsating electronic beats and warped synthesizers. The music is accompanied by his distinctive voice and lyrics in Iraqi Arabic. On May 16, 2025, exactly one year after the release of his debut single, 3YOONI will release his first album digitally and on vinyl. It will be titled Baghdad.

[As a POC (Person of Color) refugee who faces daily marginalization, 3YOONI critically explores identity, language, racism and orientalism in his songs. He combines traditional Arabic rhythms and the sounds of oud arrangements with pulsating electronic beats and distorted synthesizers. The music is accompanied by his unmistakable voice and lyrics in Iraqi Arabic. [die_ley (Leyla Schiemenz) is a German-Iranian DJ and artist from Munich. In her sets, she blends UK bass, dubstep and breakbeat with Persian and Middle Eastern influences. Heavy basslines meet hypnotic rhythms, vocals and melodic fragments from Persian musical traditions - percussive, bass-driven and genre-spanning. Alongside her work as a DJ, she works as a freelance painter. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in Andrea Büttner's class.

die_ley (Leyla Schiemenz) is a German-Iranian DJ and artist from Munich. In her sets she combines UK bass, dubstep and breakbeat with Persian and Middle Eastern influences. Heavy basslines meet hypnotic rhythms, vocals and melodic fragments from Persian music traditions - percussive, bass-driven and cross-genre.alongside her DJ work, she works as a freelance painter. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in the class of Andrea Büttner.
