Reclaim the night /|\ FLINTA* Demo & Party

In the organizer's words:

Demo and party for FLINTA* and Allies. Joy is an act of resistance! Based on this principle, coined by the Black feminists Toi Derricotte and Audre Lorde, we celebrate exuberant, collective dance joy as a political expression. On April 30, Walpurgis Night, we are thus continuing the tradition of feminist Reclaim the Night protests since the 70s. The shared joy should recharge our batteries and join forces in the fight for real equality and against violence, hatred, discrimination and populist division. With the focus on FLINTA*, we want to give all people who feel connected to the term a special space - but not exclude anyone. An attitude of mutual respect and consideration is important to us. Come along, as crazy (or bland) as you are, the main thing is that you feel comfortable!

From 18:00-21:30 /|\ dance demo - start at the Bavariapark snail with music, pertormances and speeches. We will then dance through the city with DJ Julie Fleischer, Busy Bandulu and Colectivo Racha

At around 9.30 pm we ride into the Import Export courtyard for the party! And will be welcomed there by the performer IRIE.
