The immersive sound and video installation "Das Bruchstückhafte" by the Cologne-based theater group ANALOG is based on the family story of Netty Pietjou, who survived the Holocaust in hiding in the Netherlands. The exhibition also links Jewish voices from the worlds of art, culture and politics with themes such as memory, identity and belonging. In a collage of documentary interviews, atmospheric sound and overarching texts, the exhibition poses questions about the significance of the present and the past for Jewish life in Germany today. Panel discussions at the vernissage and finissage will address the topics with invited guests.
