West African rhythms are energetic and explosive. They consist of various accompaniment rhythms on the djembe, three different bass patterns on the doundoun, sangban, and kenkeni. “On top of that,” the solo djembe plays with its numerous variations and signals. A day full of inspiration and fun! The workshop is open to beginners and advanced players alike. If you have one, please bring your own instrument.
