The lit.COLOGNE Debut Prize is entering a new round! For the 14th time, we are presenting the best debuts of the spring. The prize is the 2222 euro silver pig donated by RheinEnergie. Marie-Christine Knop presents the three nominees: Kaleb Erdmann 's wir sind pioniere is a fast-paced, contemporary and witty debut in which he sends his characters on a search for the right relationship model. Mirrianne Mahn tells the moving story of her eponymous protagonist Issa, who travels to Cameroon pregnant and traces her family history in the country of her childhood. With Liste der gebliebenen Dinge, Katrin Schumacher has written a love story about finding each other and disappearing, opening up spaces of the surreal. Who will win? You decide! At the end of the event, the audience will vote live and choose the winner.
