The "Nuremberg Diary" is based on the records of the US military psychologist Gustave M. Gilbert, who conducted individual interviews with the main defendants of the Nazi regime during the Nuremberg Trials (1945/46).
The theater ensemble stages these statements between self-justification and denial, ideological conviction and defense as an insight into the world of thought of the accused Nazi leadership elite - 80 years
after the trial.
