10.01.2026 is the 10th anniversary of David Bowie's death!
A day of sadness, but above all of gratitude.
Gratitude for his music, his musical transformation
and his side projects, which he accompanied as a mentor.

We are decorating the MTC with a good dose of glam & glitter and invite you on a musical journey through time - as varied, surprising and exciting as Bowie's work itself.

In 1962, at the age of just 15, David Bowie was already on stage with the Konrads and the King Bees - classic rock'n'roll.
A detour into folk followed in 1967.
Then in 1969 came the milestone that made him immortal: "Space Oddity".

And in 1972, Ziggy Stardust was born - an androgynous glam rock icon who changed everything, both musically and culturally.

This journey could be continued endlessly. Few artists have reinvented themselves as often, gone their own way as consistently and remained as multifaceted as David Bowie.

For me, Bowie - alongside The Cure and Depeche Mode - has been a musical companion since my earliest childhood. Almost like a friend.
His loss on 10.01.2016 came unexpectedly and hit deeply.

This night will be very special for me.
And hopefully for you too.
