With his third solo album Future Ghosts in the luggage, which is released on February 16, 2024, Dekker comes in March 2024 on a major tour of Germany.

Brookln Dekker grew up in the Midwest of the USA. In 2003, he founded the indie-folk duo Rue Royale with his wife Ruth Dekker, moved to England and toured Europe extensively until 2014. In 2020, under the name Dekker, he produces his first solo album Slow Reveal: Chapter One with Berlin-based drummer and producer Stefan Wittich, whose tracks quickly land on several major folk playlists. 'This Here Island,' 'The Love' and 'Tethered, Wrapped Around' are streamed over 30 million times on Spotify alone and rotate on several major radio stations across Europe. In the U.S., the album even enters at #70 on the NACC Top 200 (U.S. College Charts) in late December 2020. Dekker gains further notoriety through the use of 'Tethered, Wrapped Around' in the Netflix series Kitz.

Titled I Won't Be Your Foe, Dekker finally releases his follow-up album in May 2022. Working again with Stefan Wittich and mixing/mastering engineer Zach Hanson (Bon Iver, Whitney, The Staves,) he manages to build on his indie-folk blueprint and the success of his debut album. The single 'Maybe October' becomes an indie hit. In the same year Dekker, who is unmistakable in music videos and on stage by his big hat, plays a successful German tour. With his band consisting of Brookln Dekker (vocals/git), Stefan Wittich (drums/percussion) and Andi Fins (keys/bass/bvs), Dekker's shows create dynamic and rousing live moments that get the audience dancing and singing along. Sold-out shows, e.g. at the Lido in Berlin, and numerous festival appearances in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and France are further proof of this. With a busy touring schedule behind him, a worldwide radio presence and an ever-growing listenership, Dekker has now reached over 60 million streams for his first two albums.

The first singles from Future Ghosts, 'Hero Myth' and 'Too Young To Die', already give a first taste of the upcoming album - and together they have reached almost half a million streams in no time and rotate on BBC Nottingham, radio eins, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, etc..
