In the organizer's words:

- This is a widespread scam in which criminals contact elderly people and pretend to be their grandchildren or close relatives. The perpetrators pretend to be in urgent need of financial support and deceive their victims.

But what happens when the tables are turned?

True to the motto "The old men fight back", the story between the quick-witted Veronica and her absent-minded grandson Manfred gets completely out of hand. When Manfred visits his grandmother Veronica after a 16-year break in contact, he expects everything - except what follows. The elderly lady informs him that she wants to make him her sole heir, but not without certain conditions.
What Manfred then discovers in the cellar awakens his instinct to flee in a flash. But the front door is locked and his cell phone has disappeared. For Veronica, the conversation is far from over.

"The Grandchild Trick" is an entertaining, absurd and multi-layered production that deals with an extremely topical subject in an amusing way.
