Der Klangteppich – Musik, live und improvisiert

In the organizer's words:

When the carpet of sound is rolled out, musicians are invited to come together to improvise and jam in two different formats. The free session is open-ended and is timed so that everyone gets their money's worth and doesn't get bored. The highlight is the concept session: audience members and musicians can fill in a wish list with four fields to create an improvisation of their choice. The slip of paper is placed in a draw box. The contents of each drawn slip of paper are presented, whereupon interested musicians can come forward to interpret the criteria musically.

The audience can then look forward to seeing how the criteria are musically interpreted.

The aim of the interpretations is the greatest possible freedom and creativity, not perfection! At the end of each jam, a conclusive ending should be aimed for.

Interested musicians should bring their instrument. A backline (PA, drums, 2 x guitar amps, 1 x bass, 1 x keyboard, 2 x mics, free slots on the mixer) is available.

Free admission. A donation for the Pelmke is requested.
