Patrick Bänsch, HEG Hagen: Alternative heat supply for residential areas - the concept of heat from wastewater:
Hagener Erschließungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH (HEG) is actively involved in neighborhood development, among other things. In addition to the energy-efficient refurbishment of housing, mostly Wilhelminian-style houses, HEG is looking for alternative ways to upgrade the neighborhoods. A block of flats in lower Wehringhausen can be supplied with heat from the public sewer. Patrick Bänsch, authorized signatory of HEG, presents the project and the findings.

"Sustainably warm - future heat supply in Hagen" is the motto of an event on heat supply held every 3rd Thursday of the month. Alternating between the VHS and the Pelmke Cultural Center in Wehringhausen, experts and citizens provide information on how to adapt buildings to the latest criteria.
