For over 100 years, Peter Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" has been delighting audiences around the world - and has become an integral part of the Advent and Christmas season. Now a renowned Italian ensemble from the "cradle of European dance" is bringing this masterpiece of classical ballet back to the stage in a particularly loving production.

It tells the story of Clara, who experiences a wondrous journey into a world full of fantasy, adventure and romance on the magical night of Christmas - with dolls that come to life, battling armies of mice and an enchanting prince at her side. The production captures this timeless fairytale world and combines it with a sensitive pinch of modern choreography and expressive stage language.
