Der Rheinreden - U20 - Poetry-Slam Bonn · Jana Goller (Moderation)

It regularly gets young, colorful and loud in the lounge of the Bonn Pantheon when a line-up of talented young poets between the ages of 10 and 20 step up to the microphone to inspire the audience and compete for their favor. Because only one of them can win the region's first U-20 slam.

Line-up to follow

At the Rheinreden Poetry Slam, young poets compete against each other with their self-written texts. Their texts must all be performed without props, in a time limit of 6 minutes and quotes must be marked. There are no thematic or formal requirements for the slam texts: they can be political, funny, personal, lyrical, prosaic, Dadaist, etc. The audience decides which performance they liked best and who gets to fight for victory in the final. The location in the Pantheon is super cozy, with colorful armchairs and light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. In a living room atmosphere, the presenter guides you through the colorful show with wit and authenticity.
