What is the meaning of life? This question is one of the central
topics of human existence. For some time now, philosophers and thinkers have been searching for meaning. Whether from a theological, philosophical or psychological perspective - there are many different approaches to this eternal question of humanity.
The author Manfred Lütz has also spent his whole life searching for meaning. Now he believes he has found an answer: In his new book The Meaning of Life, Lütz seeks and finds the highest expression of meaning in the realm of art. More precisely: art in Rome. He thus locates the eternal question in the Eternal City. For in Rome, he is convinced, one can see the meaning of life.
Together with the writer Elke Heidenreich, he enters into a conversation about art, meaning and the simultaneous experience of both.
