Coffee, Cake, and a Mystery Novel Premiere: Reading from “Der stille Schatten” by Toni Castell
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 5 p.m., the new Central Hesse crime novel “Der stille Schatten” by Toni Castell from Marburg will celebrate its premiere at the Turmcafé at the Spiegelslustturm. The second volume in the Anna and Dobbs series plunges readers right into a psychologically intense crime case: While his victims are away on a carefree vacation, a perpetrator secretly lives in their homes—and prepares for their return down to the smallest detail.
The reading will be accompanied by criminally good live music from HowdieMania—for even more suspense and atmosphere in a special setting.
Toni Castell and Nadine Hellmund will be reading.
