Kurt Weill's turbulent opera Der Zar lässt sich fotografieren meets Carl Orff's fairytale play Die Kluge: two works from times of upheaval that combine wit, irony and political overtones. While Weill's music echoes the light music of the 1920s, Orff develops his music ingeniously out of the language. In Keith Warner's production, both pieces merge into an energetic double bill full of stage impact.

DISCOUNTS Pupils and students receive tickets in advance with a 50% discount. They can also obtain unsold remaining tickets at 15 euros per ticket for all seats at the Box Office shortly before the performance begins, provided there is no other demand.
