What happens when theater, reading and radio play merge? The result is a fascinating and unique stage event: an interactive live radio play! With their versatile voices, the ensemble of Live-Hörspiel Köln brings the classic "The Wizard of Oz" to life in an innovative and creative way. With suspense, humor and irony, the timeless story about being and appearing captivates people of all ages. The audience can expect a special kind of fairytale lesson for adults and teens, as they themselves become part of the soundscape. From their own seat, they can hum their way through the theater as a swarm of bees or mutate acoustically into a horde of flying monkeys. The sounds of the story are also created live from all kinds of everyday objects that are rarely in the spotlight: A tarpaulin sometimes becomes a tornado, a nailbrush an acoustic multifunctional wonder. All this makes the interactive live radio play a real highlight that will be remembered for a long time.

The ensemble
The three Cologne residents Claudia Behr, Carolin Dörmbach and Melanie Wierum share a passion for the stage, theater and music. They have already developed and successfully staged the interactive live radio play "The Brothers Lionheart" and "The Neverending Story" with a great deal of creativity, humor and passion.
