Deutsches Gehörlosen Theater: Pinocchios

In the organizer's words:

"Pinocchios" - social drama by the German Theater for the Deaf is now going on tour.

Under the direction of Eyk Kaulisky, the Deutsches Gehörlosen-Theater is bringing the play "Pinocchios" to the stage together with the avant-garde ensemble.

The well-known story becomes a powerful drama about identity, morality and social exclusion - told in sign language, images and strong visual language.

What is particularly remarkable is that this is the first time a play has been performed in which the entire team is equally involved as protagonists - a challenging and exciting artistic situation.

At the center is a modern Pinocchio, caught between self-doubt and the pressure to meet expectations. The production makes the diversity of the deaf community visible and addresses discrimination, truth and social masks.

An intense, visual theater experience for deaf and hearing people alike.
