On her imaginary journey, with the aim of bringing ecological issues back into the - artistic - focus, Argonause examines her home port: the theater and, in particular, the set - that is, what constitutes stage design and costumes.

The internationally active artist and scenographer Doris Dziersk questions materials and the ideas behind them. In a workshop open to everyone and a discussion with guests, the focus will be on the role that stage sets play in the carbon footprint of theaters.How efficiently do they have to be designed? Do set designers have to constantly reinvent everything and throw away what they have designed in order to successfully market their artistic signature? What possibilities lie in what is available at many venues, such as standardized platform systems?What to do when the non-ecological material is aesthetically more beautiful, more complex, more artistically appropriate? Every space has a multitude of qualities and information. How can these be utilized and used effectively?
