Would you like to freshen up your closet without breaking the bank and be sustainable at the same time? Then our clothes swap is just the thing for you. Here you can swap your discarded clothes for new favorites and make a contribution to greater sustainability and waste prevention.

Throwaway culture, overconsumption and fast fashion have led to a situation where we in Germany live in a state of clothing abundance. Every 5th newly purchased item of clothing is never worn and disappears forever in the closet or ends up unused in the bin. But there is a simple solution: swap instead of buying new.

Join meinsfürdeins and come to the AWB clothes swap!

• When: Saturday, July 04, 2026 ll 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Where: AWB administration building in Cologne Kalk ll Dillenburger Str. 98, 51105 Cologne

Free admission - registration is not necessary.

It's that simple:

• Bring a maximum of 10 items of clothing and hand them in
  and then simply...
• Find and take a maximum of 10 items of clothing

What can be swapped?

• Women's and men's clothing
• Condition of clothing: washed, clean, intact
• Please not: shoes, underwear, socks, accessories and swimwear

What else is there?

• Learn to separate waste in a fun way
• Creative upcycling products from @SkFKoeln and voluntary support from @skm_koeln
• Culinary delights from Publik Kitchen

Tips for getting there

The best way to get to the clothes swap is by public transport, as there is no reserved parking on site.

How to get to us:

• Subway: Line 1 or 9 to Kalk Kapelle, then approx. 10 minutes on foot via Wiersbergstraße
• S-Bahn: S12, S19 or RB25 to Trimbornstraße, then approx. 15 minutes on foot via Dillenburger Straße
• Bus: Line 193 to Christian-Sünner-Straße
