Amelie has her own fabulous world. She loves the little things, the quiet tones and the delicate gestures. She has an eye for details that everyone else misses and an eye for magical moments that are more fleeting than the blink of an eye. Amelie has her head above the clouds, but still has both feet on the ground. Her little universe is populated by suicidal goldfish, failed geniuses, hypochondriacs suffering from longing and other bizarre characters. When one day she decides to enter the lives of her fellow human beings as a fairy godmother, she knows exactly what she has to do: she sends a garden gnome on a world tour, conjures up love letters that have been lost for decades and becomes an angel of protection and revenge in one person. Only when it comes to her own happiness does Amelie stand in her own way. And when she falls in love with the shy Nico, she hardly knows what to do - until a good spirit helps her on her way...
