The Grand Poetry Slam New Year’s Show 2027
Right at the start of the year, the grand concert hall of the Lübeck Music and Congress Hall will become a temple of language when some of the best poets from the German-speaking world come together for the Grand Poetry Slam New Year’s Show. Eloquent, humorous, moving, and sometimes provocative—this is how Lübeck celebrates the start of the new year with a fireworks display of performed word art!
On this evening, Slam A Rama brings together national slam greats and the scene’s word heroes on one stage for this electrifying competitive format that defines poetry slam. Whether it’s poetry, storytelling, rap, or spoken word—here, every line is an experience. At the end of the evening, the audience decides whose texts resonate the loudest.
