Several semi-finals were held to decide which six slammers would qualify for the grand final on August 18 at the Fabrik Altona. Whether poetry or prose, political or slapstick, everything is allowed on this stage and in the end a seven-member jury from the audience will decide who leaves the stage as the winner. It's not just about a prestigious title, but also about who gets to represent the city of Hamburg at the German-language Poetry Slam Championships in Bielefeld. Honor to whom honor is due.
