Have you been wanting to carve a small wooden figure yourself for a long time, but don’t know where to start? In this special course, Bremen-based wood sculptor Sarah Hillebrecht and artist Christian Przygodda will guide you from the initial idea to the finished, painted figure.
Over the course of eight evening sessions, you’ll develop and bring your own unique project to life. You won’t follow a rigid curriculum; instead, you’ll work on a figure based on your personal ideas and interests. Whether it’s a person, an animal, a fantasy character, or an abstract form—you set the direction, while the instructors support you step by step in bringing your vision to life.
Thanks to the dual instruction, you’ll benefit both from Sarah Hillebrecht’s expertise in craftsmanship and sculpture and from Christian Przygodda’s creative and painterly insights. This way, you’ll receive a wide range of inspiration and personalized support throughout the entire creative process.
The course is equally suitable for beginners and participants with some prior experience.
