Wood is a material with a unique character—both malleable and resilient, vibrant and full of surprises. Those who work with wood enter into an exciting dialogue with the material: every grain, every texture, and every shape influences the creative process. This not only results in unique works of art but also in new experiences in exploring one’s own creative potential.
Under the guidance of Bremen-based wood sculptor Sarah Hillebrecht, you’ll develop and create your very own wood sculpture during this multi-day course. You won’t follow a set program, but will instead work on your own individual project. From the initial idea through the design phase to the finished sculpture, you’ll receive step-by-step guidance and expert support.
The course is suitable for both beginners and participants with some prior experience who wish to deepen their knowledge or tackle larger projects.
