The solar eclipse on August 12, 2026, will feature the greatest coverage of the Sun by the Moon visible in Germany until the next total solar eclipse visible in Germany in 2081. This presentation summarizes the most important facts. It also explains when, where, and how you can safely observe the eclipse yourself.
