On January 29, 2024, the staff of the Palestinian Red Crescent receive an emergency call from Gaza: six-year-old Hind Rajab is trapped in a car that has been shot at by Israeli forces and is pleading for help. While the staff try to keep the girl on the line, they do everything they can to save her. Using a combination of acted scenes and the original audio recordings of the distress call, director Kaouther Ben Hania reconstructs the gruesome outcome of this rescue attempt. A film that not only documents, but shakes us up, with an unsparing look at the fate of a child at war. (Ben Hania, TN FR 2025 - FSK 12 - OmdU)
