In the organizer's words:

Three authors, three novel ideas, three rejections: on the one hand, Alva Lück and Helen Arnold, who found each other in spring 2024. One originally from Munich, the other from Berlin, one a journalist, the other does "something with theater or text", both mothers of young and older children. They have one thing in particular in common: a love of words and language. Alva and Helen meet once a month to share their creative ideas. And they regularly realize: "What a shame that some of it is still unpublished."

The third member of the group is Marcella Melien from Wiesbaden. She studied bookselling/publishing, has a master's degree in literary writing, works as a literary mediator and curates the "Never wash them" reading series in Frankfurt. Although Marcella has been successfully publishing books since 2009, she is currently looking for a publisher for her latest work. Customer still unknown ...

Together with the Romanfabrik, the motif of the unpublished was created. Why not create a place in a cozy atmosphere where lovers of literature can meet at eye level? A place where exchange takes place. A place where authors read - as part of the audience. "With the unpublished, we open up our creative space and invite others to become part of the creative process. Our wish is to encourage other authors to present their book projects and thus create a framework for unpublished projects."

The evening will be hosted by journalist Isabella Caldart. In March 2024, she herself published the book Nirvana. 100 pages (Reclam Verlag) in March 2024.
