In the organizer's words:
Ludwig Löwenhaupt buys a live goose to put on the table on Christmas Eve. Until then, his son Peter takes care of the animal, gives it the name Auguste and lets it live with him in the children's room. Peter can't prevent the goose from being plucked, but he can prevent its premature departure to goose heaven!
