Digital school matinee for the 10th grade written examination in German

The content focus of the written examination at grammar schools for the subject German in the 10th grades is E. T. A. Hoffmann's story "Das Fräulein von Scuderi" (1819).

Actress Anjorka Strechel will open the event with a reading from Hoffmann's "Das Fräulein von Scuderi." The literary scholar Alexander Koenina, professor at the University of Hanover, will then analyze Hoffmann's story in a short lecture and place it in its contemporary historical context.

Afterwards, Alexander Koenina will explain the structure of the text in a discussion with Literaturhaus director
Rainer Moritz about the structure of the text and its linguistic-narrative characteristics - with a special focus on what might be helpful for the 2023/24 written examination.
