After enchanting over 200,000 fans in more than 100 shows in the USA, Europe, the UK and Australia in 2024, "Dirty Dancing in Concert" is bringing its magic back to the stages of Germany and Austria. In nine cities, the classic film, which shaped an entire generation with its soundtrack, will be presented by a live band and brought back to life on a large movie screen.

The film, directed by Emile Ardolino and based on a screenplay by Eleanor Bergstein, was released in 1987 and quickly became an international box office hit. Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey played their most famous roles alongside Jerry Orbach and Cynthia Rhodes. The soundtrack spawned two albums that went platinum several times over. Among the many successful singles, the world-famous hit "(I've Had) The Time of My Life", which won the Oscar for Best Song, stands out.
