In nine cities, the classic film, which shaped an entire generation with its soundtrack, will be presented by a live band and brought back to life on a large movie screen.

The film, directed by Emile Ardolino and based on a screenplay by Eleanor Bergstein, was released in 1987 and quickly became an international box office hit. Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey played their most famous roles alongside Jerry Orbach and Cynthia Rhodes. The soundtrack spawned two albums that went platinum several times over.
