A cruise ship as a micro-universe of the contemporary capitalist world: on the upper decks, abundance is flaunted and consumed without restraint. At the same time, an almost invisible group of people clean and cook under extreme conditions and entertain the customers. But something is going on - in the laundry room on one of the lower decks, the workers are celebrating a party of the exploited that will shatter the cruiser and shake up the conventional rules.

Dirty Laundry looks back at the history of social movements that fought for a free and just world. Bold and radical ideas were widespread. Today, in the midst of the capitalist catastrophe, this knowledge needs to be recalled. Away from a patriarchal history of civilization, Nicoleta Esinencu & teatru-spălătorie use a powerful text and sound collage to assert a world that points to social potential for the future.
