Information about the piece

Donya Ahmadifar is a hip hop dancer and choreographer from the street culture scene. With "Wer hat noch Luft zum Atmen", Donya and her team bring dances from the street style scene to the theater stage. The performance explores the importance of breathing for the body and mind. Five dancers from street culture explore different breathing techniques: How do they affect our emotions? And what happens when we stop breathing? The audience is also invited to consciously experience their breathing in this interactive dance performance.

Donya Ahmadifar (creative director, co-choreographer) Donya Ahmadifar is a dancer and choreographer from the street culture scene. She has been active in various dance fields for several years and is a permanent member of the street style scene, focusing primarily on battles, as well as the direct exchange of dancers and theater projects. Her most recent projects include the dance performance "Gole Sangam" at Theater Rampe Stuttgart and the dance project "Urban Creation" (artistic director: Daniela Rodriguez Romero) at Roxy Ulm.
Daniela Rodriguez Romero (Research Director, Co-Choreographer) Daniela Rodriguez Romero is a freelance choreographer, movement scientist and creative movement educator. Her field of work includes artistic research, dance production and dance education. Her focus is on urban stage art and the cultural mediation of urban dance forms. Within the spectrum of urban movement principles, she researches forms of expression and staging formats for urban dance in the stage context.

Information on accessibility

The performance focuses on panic attacks and their symptoms (shortness of breath, hyperventilation).
There is a sound reminiscent of tinnitus.
The performance lasts approx. 75 minutes without a break. German and English spoken language is used.
The audience area on the grandstand is seated. Wheelchair spaces are usually located in the front row and can be reserved in advance by phone 0421 520 80 70, by email or by entering them in the ticket store.
