Doppel-Performance Abend: Orakel

In the organizer's words:

What happens when it's not people who take on the task of parenting, but a media device? A conventional television, which for some of us was much more than that: best friend, babysitter and, time and again, a substitute parent in our early childhood years. With the performance ORAKEL, Caner Akdeniz embarks on a film-historical journey and attempts to immerse himself in a collective memory using formative blockbuster titles from the 1980s to the early 2000s.

The performance Orakel will be shown in the hall behind zeitraumexit, which can be reached via an unpaved path across the wasteland. Please remember to wear sturdy shoes. The performance "Yoldaş - Women who hold each other" will take place on the same day in advance. After "Orakel" there will be an audience discussion on "Yoldaş - Women who hold each other" and "Orakel" with Nazli Saremi.
