It is hardly surprising that Dorian Electra was already considered a pop sensation by the Guardian in 2020. One reason for this was her debut album "Flamboyant", released in 2019, which now has almost 38 million streams. At the heart of this debut is the celebration of male stereotypes, which are viewed in a new light in order to make these topics accessible and understandable for everyone in a fun way. This approach of making complex gender stereotypes and other queer topics easy to understand already resonated with many people in 2019. In 2023, over 500,000 followers on social media and over 360,000 monthly listeners on Spotify are testament to the success of the genderfluid person: Dorian Electra doesn't feel she belongs to any gender and embodies this freedom in her music as well as in elaborately designed stage costumes.
After the first successful concerts in Berlin and Cologne in January, two more concerts are now to follow, including one in Hamburg.
