Dorothée Munyaneza Cie Kadidi "Toi, moi, Tituba"
In the organizer's words:
It all begins with encounters: Drawing on texts by philosopher Elsa Dorlin and writer Maryse Condé, the performance traces the footsteps of those whose stories were erased by colonialism. At its heart: the body as a repository of memory and resistance. Dance, voice, and song weave personal and collective experiences into a “collective solo” spanning Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean. Together with Stéphanie Coudert and Khyam Allami, Dorothée Munyaneza creates a powerful production of light, sound, and movement. In 2024, she was awarded the SEDA – European Dance Award, the world’s most highly endowed dance prize.
