Dortmund unplugged
In the organizer's words:
“Dortmund Unplugged” is a concert series held during the “Langer August” festival that showcases local artists. Every second Friday of the month, three acts each present a 30-minute set featuring acoustic instruments, original songs, and an intimate connection with the audience. “Dortmund Unplugged” promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund’s singer-songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talent to showcase their work and build a close connection between artists and listeners. The series is hosted by Hans Blücher, Boris Gott, and a team from Nordmarkt Records and the Musiksyndikat Ruhr.
Performing on September 11:
KARLSKRONA – an indie-pop duo from Dortmund. When Pia and Robert play, neon lights and everyday life fade away. Their songs tell of feelings, time travel, and dreams. Atmospheric sounds and two voices that give voice to hidden longings.
ISABEL NOLTE is a singer-songwriter and storyteller. She’s a friend to your ears, a one-woman girls’ night out, and a man’s dream all rolled into one—sweet as sugar and wickedly charming at the same time.
LUKAS BERCHNER, lead singer of the ska band “Naia Skaia,” is known for his unique songs filled with heart, intellect, and humor. He performs with passion and an unshakable hope for a world filled with love and justice.
