Dortmund unplugged

In the organizer's words:

"Dortmund Unplugged" is a concert series in Long August that focuses on local artists. Every second Friday of the month, three acts present a 30-minute program with acoustic instruments, their own songs and close proximity to the audience.

"Dortmund Unplugged" promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund's singer/songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talents to present themselves and build a close bond between artists and listeners.

The series is hosted by Hans Blücher, Boris Gott and a team from Nordmarkt Records and Musiksyndikat Ruhr.

"Herr Lehmann", "More thans uns" and "Jolante" will perform on 14.02.2025.

Herr Lehmann is André Becker's singer-songwriter project, which has been offering melancholic but hopeful German-language music since 2011. He has played at festivals such as Rocken am Brocken and Juicy Beats and has supported acts such as Fortuna Ehrenfeld.

'More than us' is a duo consisting of Lena Hillebrandt and Tom Hülk. Their message. Music connects people! "There is so much to feel and experience in our world when we open our hearts again." Their songs reflect elements of pop, rock, jazz and soul.

Jolante from Cologne/Bonn/Dortmund play rough urban folk and indie rock about the everyday life behind the everyday life. Their music is sometimes driving and full of energy, sometimes withdrawn and thoughtful - always honest, always close. Jolante make noise where it belongs and listen carefully where others just pass by.
