Dortmund unplugged - Schiller Songwriter Stage

The Schiller Songwriter Stage "Dortmund Unplugged" is a concert series in Long August that focuses on local artists. Every second Thursday, three acts present a 30-minute program with acoustic instruments, their own songs and close proximity to the audience. "Dortmund Unplugged" promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund's singer/songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talents to present themselves and build a close bond between artists and listeners. The series is hosted by Hans Blücher and a team from Nordmarkt Records and Musiksyndikat Ruhr.

On 09.05.2024, the series will be launched for the second time with the new concept. This time Boris Gott, Vanessa Voss and Takina Nuna will be there.

With the new album "Glücklich" in his saddlebag, BORIS GOTT rides lonely through the German songwriter jungle. Thematically, the songs are located in the familiar BORIS GOTT cosmos: longing, searching, transcendence and canned beer in the swingers' club are dealt with in the folky rock songs and bitter truths are sweetened with beautiful catchy melodies.

Singer-songwriter Vanessa Voss stands for soul and naturalness. Her music is characterized by soulful and melancholic pop melodies with which she depicts her world in an honest and authentic way. Vanessa has traveled extensively and incorporates these experiences into her songs. She has recently found a new home in Ireland and is now setting off again to play in pubs and continue to be inspired musically and find her own sound more and more.

"Takina Nuna" means "music for the soul" in Quechua. Takina Nuna is a harmonious fusion of different cultures and sounds that the musicians discover in nature and in everyday life. Their songs and lyrics are inspired by the beauty of nature and their deep connection to their roots and everything around us.
