DÖSENÖFFNER 2026 - OFFENE MAL- UND GRAFFITI-WERKSTÄTTEN ZUM MITMACHEN
In the organizer's words:
It’s time to spray and paint again! Once a year—this year from June 19 to August 8, 2026—the walls under the Brudermühl Bridge get a makeover: During the summer months, they become a giant canvas, painted live by (up-and-coming) artists: barkbank-Panta, Duo Ivandfrei & Lionel David, HUGO, Julia & Sarah, Kai Schatz, Karen Exner, luna & Anna, Philipp Kügler, PyserOne, Sonido Caribe, Tanya Vino—an experience for everyone passing by the Isar.
In addition to the repainting, the DÖSENÖFFNER also features free workshops for anyone interested, where you can learn how to spray paint and paint on walls. Come on by, and then it’s: on the wall, get set, spray!

KRITZEL KRAKEL SPIELEREI – Open-air painting workshop with Bine Mayer
For everyone—please wear clothes and shoes that can get covered in paint!
Cephalopods and other creatures scurry through abstract fantasy worlds; here, a chaos of color emerges; there, a geometric order; over there, individual letters and texts—some with meaning, some without. Instead of naturalism, we’ll focus on simplified depictions of animals and people, as seen in the worlds of comics and street art.
We’ll be painting with acrylic markers and brushes on a wooden structure that will be temporarily set up in front of LUISE. No prior artistic experience is required, as virtually anything goes—and everything is encouraged. And don’t worry—if you’re feeling stuck or your hands are trembling, Kritzel and Krakel have a few tips up their sleeves.
Bine Mayer, an artist from Munich, runs the screen-printing workshop at the Färberei, among other things, and combines abstract fantasy images with the simplified lines of the cartoon style in her comic art.
