We live in a world full of images, information and contradictions. The struggle for "THE" truth and confusing experiences can be overwhelming. But what if there are more than two sides? THIS IS COMPLEX invites you to allow multiple perspectives and explore what it looks like to endure complexity. The event is in English.

Edan Gorlicki is a dance activist and has danced for Batsheva Ensemble, Inbal Pinto, NND/Galilidance and Club Guy & Roni, among others. His award-winning work explores the interaction between people and their environment and deals with social and emotional issues. He also works as a coach, mentor and rehearsal director.

The event will be held in English.

ZOE/HAUS MAWU: FEMINA SAGA - Excerpt (Düsseldorf)

In "FEMINA SAGA - Excerpt", an adaptation of the performance FEMINA SAGA-GENESIS, the performance artist ZOE reflects on the instrumentalization of female bodies and takes the audience on a journey between fact and fiction, pain and ecstasy, persecution and rehabilitation.

ZOE is an interdisciplinary performance artist from Düsseldorf who integrates elements of voguing and ballroom, among others, and transforms them into a language of resistance. She is part of the first ballroom generation in Germany. In 2025 she founded the independent ensemble HAUS MAWU.
