Out into the world, away from the tranquil, purple-blossoming homeland! With this goal in mind, five guys who are looking for more than just the idyllic Lüneburg Heath at home form a band - Drei Meter Feldweg (Three meters of dirt road) - a name that really doesn't raise high expectations and is a gross understatement, as it soon turns out. Because a lot has happened since that fateful day: The band has made a name for itself in the music landscape in recent years with chart placements, sold-out tours and shows at the country's biggest festivals.

Drei Meter Feldweg are masters in the art of uniting themes that seem contradictory at first glance and merging them into a coherent overall picture that arouses curiosity and cries out for more:

They make themselves loud against the right and sing about love in hushed tones, they wish for summer, beer and festivals after talking about the end of the world, xenophobia and fears of loss. On stage, they get into heated verbal battles with each other and are laughing in each other's arms again after the next song, creating a full-blown mosh pit right after a cheesy sea of cell phone lights. They play in the smallest club behind the nearest milk can and immediately afterwards on the biggest festival stages. Even the style of music is not always clear: is it edgy punk or smooth pop-rock, ska or electro beats?

What is certain is that Drei Meter Feldweg guarantee musical excess with an infectious good mood. With their intense live show, they immediately sweep the audience away when it comes to life's big and small worries or simply leaving them behind. Even if it's only for a few hours.
