The winner of the Munich New Playwriting Award depicts the tangled web of relationships surrounding an adult man with multiple disabilities. It is about care work between self-sacrifice and prioritizing one's own needs.
Regina is a single mother and cares for her adult son David, who has multiple disabilities. Her everyday life has been characterized by strictly timed routines for years. When Regina's partner Michael receives a job offer in Peru, Regina doesn't know how to deal with it. Her friends say: think about yourself too. And Regina can barely find the strength to open the fridge door. The winner of the Munich New Playwriting Award paints a sensitive portrait of a woman searching for her own place in life.
