"Fun is a steel bath." (Theodor W. Adorno) It's primetime and a nation wants to be entertained. And what is more entertaining for people these days than celebrating their own opinions? In this TV show, seven contestants compete for two million euros in prize money, broadcast live and streamed from Cologne at prime time in Germany. This time the contestants are Layla from Berlin and Vienna, Ferdinand from Ebenau in Pressingberg near Hammerboden in Carinthia, Maik and Moritz from Cologne (Belgian Quarter), Nilufar and Rico Schultze from Kleinroda in Thuringia and finally Kyung-Hye Song, a musician with Korean roots from Bonn. DU MUSST DICH ENTSCHEIDEN! is produced by TV legend Harry Weinlein and is a kind of "1, 2 or 3", but x-rated, hosted by Michelle Pelosi and Tommy McDonalds. The two ask the difficult questions of the present as multiple choice, the audience votes via smartphone. "You'll see if you're really right when the lights come on." This is courageous television 2026 for our democracy - the total game and all the beauty of competition.
