Three Grammys and seven Brit Awards, plus well over 100 million records sold - Dua Lipa has long been a global mega-star in pop music. In 2024, her third solo album "Radical Optimism" reached number 1 in the charts in her native UK and in the USA. She will also be stopping off in Munich on her world tour - at a double concert in the Olympic Hall on May 31 and June 1, 2025.

She celebrated her big breakthrough in 2017 when Dua Lipa reached number 3 in the UK charts with her album of the same name and landed her first number 1 hit with "New Rules". The London-born singer with Kosovan roots went on to establish herself as one of the leading British pop acts. Her second album "Future Nostalgia" went platinum and won a Grammy, while the single "Levitating" earned her the title of Billboard's No. 1 Hot 100 Song of the Year in 2021. In the summer of 2024, she headlined the legendary Pyramid Stage at the Glastobury Festival to much acclaim. "Dua shone with her performance", wrote the BBC, for example.

Critics were also enthusiastic about her recently released solo album "Radical Optimism". The New York Times named the album a "Critic's Pick" and praised it as "a nonstop earworm", as did Variety, which described it as "a joyous explosion of pop savvy".
