It all started in June 2020: With bestselling author Dörte Hansen as a guest and a good portion of potato salad à la Hemingway, as the writer ate it in Paris from the fee for his first short story. There are already over 100 episodes of the NDR culture book podcast eat.READ.sleep., which has initiated almost 100 reading circles throughout Germany.
The guest for the podcast recording at lit.COLOGNE is none other than Melanie Raabe, who celebrated a huge success with her first novel "Die Falle" (The Trap) and has since impressed with ingeniously constructed, psychologically finely crafted and incredibly exciting novels ("Die Wahrheit", "Der Schatten"). Most recently, she published "The Art of Disappearing" and her non-fiction book "Creativity: How it makes us braver, happier and stronger".
Hosts Katharina Mahrenholtz and Daniel Kaiser talk to Melanie Raabe about writing, reading and, of course, eating.
